Commercial Farming Is Not Good For You-Organic Greens Powder and Green Drink

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

Organic Greens Powder can be ordered right here!

The commercial farming industry in this country has been taken over by the multi-national chemical companies like Monsanto and Dow Chemicals. In fact, they are doing their best to erradicate organic farming practices altogether. Monsanto is pushing farmers to buy seeds from them that 1. cannot pollinate and produce seeds for next season (forced to buy more seeds from them) and 2. the seeds are already impregnated with a pesticide (Roundup). The soil at these large farming complexes is devoid of inorganic minerals (if it is not in the soil, it is not in the food) and is essentially dead (no live microbes or bacteria that give organic fruits and vegetables the vital energy they need to grow as God intended. It is time to not only make yourself aware of what is happening to your food, it is time to take action for you and your family to ensure that you get all the organic greens and fruits your cells need to function properly. Do you best to shop at local farmers markets to organic produce that is grown in the region. It is good for the earth and it is good for you. Her is some info on what is, and what is not, organic farming:

Organic Farming vs. Conventional Farming

Organic farming is based on the principle of working with the earth instead of getting her to do what we want through chemical coersion. Organic farming uses a variety of methods to improve soil fertility, including crop rotation, cover cropping, application of compost, and mulching. Organic farmers also use processed natural fertilizers such as bone meal, blood meal, and various mineral powders such as rock phosphate and greensand, a naturally occurring form of potash.

Crop diversity

Planting a variety of crops from year to year is an important and essential characteristic of organic farming practices. Unfortunatley today, conventional farming focuses on mass production of a single crop in a single location, this type of farming is referred to as mono-culture, or mono-farming. This makes a lot of sense for the big Agra-farmers because they will spend less money on specialized equipment, fertilizers, herbicides, fungisides, and insecticides for a single crop than one using bio-diversity There is a farming science called “agroecology”, this approach to farming takes advantage of all that nature has taught farmers over the last, oh I don’t know, few centuries, to utilize crop rotation, use insects for pest control instead of harmful chemicals (Lady Bugs are natural born killers). Hey, how about putting the right types of beneficial bacteria and micro-organisms back in that healthy soil is supposed to have. The best approach to farming, and this is what organic farming is based on, is to plant a variety of crops in the same area, this is called poly-culture.

Yours in health,
