All of the above contain some of the highest alkaline pH factors available in food. They also contain large amounts of natural chlorophyll and an antioxidant enzyme called superoxide dismutase.
Mechanically extracted SDG Flax Lignans
(secoisolariciresinol diglucoside)
Lignans are a group of phytonutrients (plant chemicals)
which are found in seeds and grains. Flax seed is by far nature?s richest source of plant lignans.
Other sources of lignans such as rye, buckwheat, millet, soya and barley, yield 2 to 6 micrograms of lignans per gram of grain.
Flax seed yields an extraordinary 800 micrograms. While the essential fatty acids are in the oil of the flax seed, the lignans are found in the fiber shell of the seed. The oil contains less than 2% of the flax seed lignans.
It takes nearly twenty five pounds of flax seed to produce
just 4 ounces of flax lignans. Until recently, SDG existed in such small concentrations that no one was fully aware of its miraculous qualities.
While the oil in the flaxseed is a big percentage of the seed, the SDG lignan is but a small fraction of the seed composition.
Modern extraction methods have brought to light the tremendous health benefits associated with lignans.
These amazing lignan compounds have shown such extraordinary potential that they have been studied by the National Cancer Institute for their cancer preventative properties.
The SDG lignan not only has anti-cancer properties, it also has anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties. It has been shown to enhance immune system functioning, and is effective against many different diseases.
Since 1995 we have seen several health products with the word ‘lignan’ on the label. Names such as ‘High Lignan Flax Seed Oil’ or something similar. But when these products were tested by North Dakota University, they contained practically no lignans at all. That is expected since the lignans are not in the oil.
Other flax oil products state that they contain a certain percentage of lignan particulates, ex. ‘20% lignan particulates’.
This does not mean it contains 20% lignans. This means that 20% of the product is made up of pieces of the flax fiber shell which contain the lignans.
But since the fiber meal consists of about 1.6% lignans, such a product would contain only .35% lignans.
Other products say they have ‘up to 30% more lignans than whole flax seed’. These are essentially products consisting mostly of the defatted flax fiber without the oil.
There is no concentration or extract of lignans. Such a product thus contains about 1.6% lignans.
Due to the tremendous health benefits lignans have to offer, many health companies have tried to capitalize by offering lignan products.
They were able to get the word lignan on the label, but little of it in the product.

The amino acid is an organic acid in which one or more hydrogen atoms are replaced by NH2 group. It is one of the organic compounds, which represent the end product of the protein breakdown. All proteins are made up of amino acids. An amino acid contains a carbon atom, a free among group (containing nitrogen-NH2) and a carboxyl group (COOH). Amino acids are amphoteric in reaction and form salts with both acids and bases. The amino acids in the body are derivatives of saturated fatty acids. Amino acids are colourless, crystalline substance, soluble in water, easily diffusible and (except glycine) optically active. When the amino and carboxyl groups of amino acids combine acid residues. A peptide thus consists of 2 or more amino acid residues linked by peptide bonds.
The metabolism of protein is meant by metabolism of amino acids. There is constant exchange of amino acid from tissue to blood and other body fluids and reversely from body flui to the tissue. The size of amino acid pool represents the balance between the removal and additions of amino acids are in two groups depending on the form in which amino acids are used.
I. Functions served by intact amino acid
1. Synthesis of cell protoplasm. Amino acids are necessary to build up living cells, since proteins are main and essential constituents of them.
2. Taking up wear and tear. Amino acids repair the damaged parts when tissue proteins break down during metabolism.
3. Storage of protein. In adult/elderly people, protein breakdown exceeds protein synthesis; proteins cannot be stored when nitrogen equilibrium is established. But they can be stored in active/growing age, when protein synthesis exceeds protein breakdowns.
4. Essential amino acids: There are some amino acids, which cannot be synthesized in the body, but are essential for growth and maintenance of life.
5. Other synthesis process. Amino acids help in synthesis of bile acids, plasma proteins, haemoglobin, hormones, enzymes, milk proteins in lactating mothers, glutathione and cytochrome, purine and phyrimidine, melanin, antibodies, and formation of rhodypsin and urea. When the above functions are served by the amino acids in tact form, to the required stage, the surplus amounts of amino acids break down and undergo the following next group of functions.
II. Functions of Amino acids while breaking down
1. Supply of energy. Amino acids liberate energy on break down at the rate of 4.3 Calories per gram of protein.
2. Dynamic action. Amino Acids while breaking down, excret a specific stimulating action to the extent of about 30% on tissue metabolism.
3. Deamination. During deamination under the influence of certain enzymes, the amino acid losses its radicle, into nitrogenous part and non-nitrogenous part, each of which perform separate function.
The nitrogenous part, ammonia, a large part (80%) of it is converted to Urea, and the smaller part combines with acids to form ammonium salts. It is also utilized for the synthesis of simple amino acids like glycine, alanine, glutamic acid; and some nitrogenous substances like creation, purine, uric acid, pyrimidine, lecithin etc.
The non-nitrogenous residues are utilized as carbohydrates, and some also get broken down as fatty acids in the body. It suphur and phosphorus components get converted into their compounds before excretion.

How much good fat, fatty acids, should you be eating every day? And what is good fat? Most fat is good since your body needs all types of fat, but the best fats are the essential fatty acids. Even though saturated fat is called bad fat, the body still needs a little bit of this type of fat.
The amount of essential fatty acids that you should have in your diet, if you show no signs of any type of illness, is between 15 - 20% of the overall calories you eat every day. The breakdown of the types of fats that you should be eating is,
3-4% saturated fat
5-7% omega-6
2.5-3.5% omega-3
5-10% omega-9
Notice that you should be eating 5-10 % of omega-9. This is the best essential fatty acid for your health. The problem is that not that many foods or oils have a lot of omega-9, so it is hard to get 5-10% of this oil in your diet.
Digesting fats
Some of you may have problems digesting fatty acids and saturated fats. This may occur because you,
Don’t have any fat digestive enzymes
Have your gallbladder removed
Have a weak pancreas
To improve your digestion of essential fatty acids, you should be supplementing your diet with digestive enzymes. Since most fats are digested in the small intestine, just passed your stomach, you should be taking enteric enzymes.
Enteric enzymes are coated so that they are not used up in the stomach by acid and can reach the small intestine where most of the fats are digested.
If you don’t take digestive enzymes, you can improve the digestion of these fatty acids by mixing them with cottage cheese. When mixing flax seed oil with cottage cheese, the protein in the cottage cheese makes this oil more digestible.
Storing the essential fatty acids
The fatty acids and ground up flax seeds are sensitive to the environment and how they are processed and packaged. Improper handling of these oils will cause them to deteriorate and loss their potency.

Air
Oxygen from the air reacts quickly with fatty acids. This Oxidation causes these oils to deterioration and become rancid. When using these oils keep the bottles close when they are not in use. Buy omega-3, fatty acid, only in dark containers.
Heat
Heating fatty acids causes them to chemically change into molecules that are harmful to your health. This is one reason why you should never use them to fry foods. Use flax seed oil or omega oil only at room temperature. When adding them to soups, add them after you pull the soups of the hot plate.
If manufacturers do not take the precautions to package and process these oils in the dark and use opaque bottles, the air, oxygen, heat, and light will destroy the value of these oils.
Light
Light is extremely detrimental to fatty acids. When light hits fatty acids and oxygen is available, they speeds up the oxidation of these essential fatty acids by 1000 times. Under these conditions these oils quickly become rancid. Light produces free radicals in these oils, which in turn create various chemicals that are harmful to your body.

Results of taking Master Amino acid Pattern as a sole and total substitute of dietary proteins in an athlete during a desert crossing.

Study results show that a 51-year-old female athlete, while taking the Master Amino acid Pattern (MAP) as a sole and total substitute for dietary protein, and performing physical activity, experienced (1) increased body muscle mass, strength, and endurance; (2) decreased body fat mass; (3) greater increase in performance of the nonprevailing muscles compared to the prevailing muscles; (4) improved cardiorespiratory performance; and (5) increased red blood cells, hemoglobin, and hematocrit parameters. It was concluded, confirming previous findings, that use of MAP as a sole and total substitute for dietary protein, in conjunction with physical activity, provides safer, unprecedented optimization of the body’s protein synthesis, thereby improving anthropometric characteristics and physical and physiologic performance.
